Heat? What heat?

Excellent! So, let’s break Arizona heat records dating back to the 1800's the ONE summer I’m pregnant. Fantastic! UGH!!! I've never ever been more thankful for our swimming pool!

Oh how I miss Seattle summers...sigh, that gorgeous Emerald city with some of the best coffee in the world. Those incredible snow dusted mountains, frothy green trees as far as the eye can see, sparkling frigid rivers and Hood Canal with it's abundant fresh seafood and whale watching. Eating blackberries, raspberries, cherries, apples and plums until our stomachs hurt. Playing in the frigid river until our legs and arms were numb. Seaweed fights, climbing trees, building "a big kids" only clubhouse, catching frogs, lizards and strange creatures from the fish pond. Feeding the raccoon mom and her babies that visited the back porch every night at dusk. Sigh. Oh, to be a little kid again frolicking around on the Marshall homestead.
